[edit] License tagging for Image:1991cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:1991cover.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:05, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy Deletion of your page

Yeah, I see what you mean. If you check the deletion log for National College Comedy Festival, the admin who deleted it said "A7". You can read what that means here: WP:CSD. Anyways, I am also a little surprised it was deleted, but wikipedia does have fairly strict notability criteria. They also deleted "RPI Players" (which really didn't deserve an article). As a tip, it's always good to include references from several non-trivial independent sources, because they establish the notability of the subject.

Now, if you still think it is notable enough to have it's own article, then the proper procedure is to go to Wikipedia:Deletion Review. I hope this helps, Danski14 01:52, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
