[edit] original research

Well based on the subject matter, it could be true, so I deemed it original research. Perhaps that person and Ted stay up late at night, playing online games and snorting meth of course :-) Mr Christopher 23:22, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

ah, but given the anonymity of closeted gay sex and MMORPG's, it is entirely possible some poor sap falsely thinks he's been cybering Ted.--Chalyres 00:23, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] oaxaca

hopefully it won't come down to a war. but this page (as well as the appo page) needs some major revisions and additions. i've been doing a fair amount of research on the conflict since june, but don't know if i have the time to really tackle what needs to be done. i'll try and find some decent english language sources even though they are few and far between so that we can start bringing the oaxaca articles up to par.--Cwhalvor 20:09, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Paul Barnes

When it rains it pours! Mr Christopher 15:30, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Well if you're born "gay" then 5 years would make sense, no? :-) and this Barnes fellow is intersting. Never been political and unlike Ted, he fully admitted what he'd been up to when confronted. I plan to contribute more to both articles when I get some time. Right now all the intelligent design related articles are keeping me busy. You're in the UK, no? ID is just getting started in your world :-) Mr Christopher 02:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ted Haggard

Self-referential? You are Ted? Wjhonson 17:36, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Because your user page says "self-referential". And you list the article on Ted under that. "Self-referential" means "referring to myself". So if the article on Ted is self-referential for you, then it refers to you. Wjhonson 00:02, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why do you hate virtuous slave owners?

You're so mean. And by the way, your name is spelled Charles and not Chalyres :-) Mr Christopher 18:15, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

What the heck is a "sneaky male theory"? Fascinating, I had never given the evolution/homo subject any thought. Now I'll have to think on it. Mr Christopher 21:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to WikiProject LGBT studies!

Hi, Chalyres, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

[edit] WP:LGBT Coordinator Election Notice

This is just a quick, automated note to let you know that there is an election being conducted over the next 7 days for the position of "Coordinator" for the LGBT WikiProject. Your participation is requested. -- SatyrTN (talk contribs)

[edit] u2charist

I deleted it for exactly the reason I gave in the deletion comment. It had been listed on WP:PROD for five or more days. That's how PROD works. Someone tags the article for PROD, and if noone contests the deletion within five days, the article is deleted. Since it only takes one protest to stop a PROD, there's really no requirements for the reasons that things are placed up for PROD. In the specific case, the article was listed for PROD by User:Philippebeaudette with a reason given of "need sources".

That all aside, once an article is deleted by PROD, it only takes a single protest to get it returned. I cannot really tell from your comments on my talk page if I should consider you to be protesting, so I'll ask you directly. Do you protest the deletion? Let me know on my talk page and, if you do protet it, I'll undelete it as soon as I see the message. I'll consider a lack of a further response as being a non-protest. - TexasAndroid 14:51, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A groovy idea

I'm thinking about starting an online encyclopepia dedicated to fallen evangelists. I'll call it Homopedia :-) I need investors, got cash? :-) And to get back with you about Dawkins, I have actually not read much of him at all. Other than recent developments in popular media regarding his ideas/book on religion. Other than that I know he is a biologist who thinks Dembski is a loser and intelligent design is dumb (apparently he did not get the memo). I have not read any of his works pertaining to homosex. Got any related links for me to study up on the subject? Mr Christopher 21:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
