Robert frequents the following message boards: http://www.nola.com/forums/prepfootball (and other sports), http://www.hornetsreport.com, and http://boards.arenafootball.com,

Recently, Robert has become a big fan of European soccer. Although he can't see much of it on TV, he has mastered the art of finding scores of Wolverhampton Wanderers(in his opinion the best logo in all of sports), FC Vaduz(the biggest club in Liechtenstein), and Wigan Athletic FC(who captivated England with their run to the top of the table and the League Cup final early in the last Premiership season. Them and West Ham United, who had a similar run in the FA Cup, dispelled the belief that newly promoted clubs had to go straight back down). Robert also tries to predict every year which non-league club will get that heroic 0-0 draw in the FA Cup Third Round against Manchester United.

Robert also has recently gotten a Playstation 2 to replace the one he lost in Katrina. He initially wanted to wait for the new Playstation 3 to come out, but delays and apprehension over the quality of games released in the XBOX 360 start-up led to his springing now for the PS2.

Robert is also a big fan of his local sports teams as well. In his lifetime, he's been to 15 New Orleans Saints NFL games, 4 New Orleans Hornets NBA games, 10 New Orleans Voodoo AFL games, 1 LSU football game and too many other minor league events to count. Robert also supports the teams of Chalmette High School, missing only one football game between 2000-2005 and attending nearly every important home game for any other boys' or girls' team.

Says Robert: "I just want to let people know what extraordinary damage Hurricane Katrina caused to a entire half of a major American metropolitan area, and to inform our leaders of the ludicrous policy of our President, who tries to tell us that we didn't go to Iraq for the oil. If we can beleive that, in my opinion, we can beleive that the 67 million votes cast in the "American Idol" final were cast by 67 million different people, or that the New Orleans Hornets' 20 win improvement over their horrendous 18-64 record in 2004-2005 was the result of Arvydas Macijauskas's consistent Rookie of the Year form. It's a shame, a real shame, in my opinion that teammate Chris Paul stole the award, Arvydas's 2.1 points per game notwithstanding."
