All values should be wikilinked whenever possible.

[edit] Name

The name of the professor, with post-nominal letters included if applicable.

[edit] Image

If an appropriate image (with the proper licensing) is available, it can be included. Images must be entered using the proper tags, as [[Image:Sample.jpg]].

[edit] Birth

All fields relating to birth; Year, City, State and Country are required.

[edit] Death

Available information relating to the persons' death can all be placed in a single field, this is optional.

[edit] Discipline

The general field of study in which the professor participates (ie. History, Physiology, Art History, etc). This field is Required.

[edit] School

The school or organization with which the professor is currently affiliated. This field is optional, but if not included will default to "Not currently affiliated.

[edit] Position

The position they currently hold. Common examples would be; Professor, Associate Professor, Professor Emeritus, Dean, etc. This field is optional - if no value is entered, it will default to Professor.

[edit] Degrees

The "bachelors", "masters" and "doctorate" fields are all optional. Values should be written as the exact degree (ie. B.A., B.Sc, etc) as well as the granting institution. For example; B.A. - Columbia University . The "other" field can be used in the same way for any other degrees held. If the type of degree, or granting location are unknown, simply include what information is known.

Any national or international awards that the professor has received. These include but are not limited to; Nobel Prizes (and their equivalents), Fellows of National Royal Societies, National Orders (ie. Order of Canada), etc.
