[edit] Translation "polish"

As per request by RaF at Wikipedia:German-English translation requests: -

Could someone take a look at it, because nor English, nor German is my native language. <RaF (also user 84.84.155.128)> <Augustus 27, 2005>.

I've done a fairly substantial re-write so I hope I haven't changed any of your intentions. The re-write was mainly to make the English read better, but there were a few changes where I think the translation was a little off. There were also a couple of sentences in the German that appear to have been accidentally missed. If it was your intention to leave these out, you may like to remove them again. There was one significant mistranslation - Charlotte did not disarm her father as per the previous translation, the German text states she beat him to death with his own gun (erschlagen = strike dead).

I also tidied the formatting slightly, clarified what the external references point to and removed the Tony Awards link as it is now out-of-date - it now lists the 2005 winners not the 2004 winners. Hope this is all OK. Valiantis 22:02, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
