Talk:Charles W. Johnson (philosopher)

[edit] Article started
I first became interested in creating this article because its subject was mentioned in the article on Left-libertarianism, with a link to the lengthy Charles Johnson (disambiguation) page. Alas, at that time the dozens of Charles Johnsons listed on that page did not include this one, so the link from the Left-libertarianism article was very misleading.
It occurred to me that I might simply remove the internal link from the Left-libertarianism page. However, it would then be quite likely that someone would restore the misleading link. It seemed to me that the best solution was to create an article, even if only a stub, for this Charles Johnson. So here it is. I hope that I, or someone else, can augment it in the future.
If this person is not notable, then why is he cited in the Left-libertarianism article? I have no dog in this hunt -- if he is not truly notable, then perhaps he could be removed from that article as well. My assumption is of notability, however. This guy's web contributions are considerable. Paul 21:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
Roderick Long cites Johnson as a source here, co-authored this article with him, and cites him again here. He is cited by Walter Block in this journal article. These are recognized scholars in the fields of economics and political philosophy effectively saying that Johnson is notable in those areas. DickClarkMises 22:41, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
