There was also another son c. Landon Knight of Akron, Ohio who was invested in horses and owned Landon Knight Stables. It's now owned by his wife, Cynthia.

Actually, CL Knight II was the grandson of the subject of this article: "Charles Landon Knight II, who was the grandson of C. L. Knight and the third of legendary newspaper editor and publisher John S. Knight's sons. Landon Knight, better known as Lanny, died in March 2000 at age 75." [1] Jokestress 19:47, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
