I'm putting a template indicating the need for references in this article.

You may notice that I removed large chunks of text. IMHO they sounded rather POV, and I salvaged the sentences that I could. If you feel the need to put some or all of the text back, please go ahead if you are able to correctly reference it, and if you are certain that the statement is not in any way biased (When I first came across the article, it seemed to have been written by someone working for the Foundation, carrying a lot of buzzwords and a praising tone). I'm a little tired from staring at my computer monitor. There is still much to do for this article. Carry on, my pretties! V-Man737 13:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removed Content

I removed the following content after unsucessfully scouring the internet for any evidence that it was a citable fact:

Since the 1980s, the Foundation has contributed to efforts to bring together scientists to discuss issues of mutual concern. As the possibility of peace in the Middle East emerged in the early 1990s, these initiatives involved participants from Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine, who came together to identify and investigate areas where they could work together.
