[edit] Father's name

This article says his father's name was Constantine; while Anna Amalia's page says it was Ernst August (her husband and father of Carl August); any clarification? Could it be all one name: Constantine Ernst August or Ernst August Constantine? --FeanorStar7 01:56, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

This Wettin family tree on the German Wikipedia indicates that Carl August's father was Ernst August II Constantin. -- Donald Albury(Talk) 02:48, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the info; I went ahead and changed it to Ernst August to align it with the Anna Amalia page --FeanorStar7 08:57, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
As a complication, Saxe-Weimar, which was originally based on the 1911 Encyclopaedia Brittannica, uses the Anglicized Ernest Augustus II and Charles Augustus. It would be nice to regularize these things across all related articles. -- Donald Albury(Talk) 13:23, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
