Talk:Chalvington

The article, like many others, complicated matters by putting the two parts of the civil parish of Chalvington with Ripe in one. Although it called them both hamlets, they are separate villages and should be treated as such. There is no such village as Chalvington with Ripe. I have created a separate article dealing with the civil parish itself. In addition the article was a complete copy of the article at the external link which gave the fact that the church was dedicated to St Thomas, whereas it is actually St Bartholomew. I have also taken the opportunity to add some xrefs and two external links. Peter Shearan 06:23, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
