Does anyone know of the accident featured in this video at filecabi.net ([1] 10mb WMV)? At the 2:55 mark, what looks like footage shot by a person with a camcorder standing at the perimeter fence of the ride, shows the large rotating part coming off the central pillar and crashing to the ground over the top of the riders. Ignore that filecabi.net link, collegehumour.com has a 1.4mb file at higher quality that shows more detail. The clip also shows a logo for "REALTV", presumably a local tv station?

Thought it might have been this incident but the Chaos ride isn't a swinging carousel type.

NAFLIC mentions a chair-o-plane centre column collapse, but doesn't give specific details. (see item 062). Tzarius 11:25, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
