Talk:CHARGE syndrome

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] I have it

I was diagnosed with CHARGE when I was born. I am a highly intelligent and healthy person too. And my ace isn't disfigured. Well, it was at birth, but not now. What thinks of you of that?! --74.129.222.94 05:10, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

This comment is not constructive to this article. Every situation, especially with a genetic disorder, affects a personal differently. Both environmental and hereditary factors contribute to the final health product of an individual. Best of luck in the future. WiiAlbanyGirl 07:30, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Patau syndrome by another name

Is this another name for Patau syndrome?

No, although they share some features in common. --WS 10:41, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bear with Me

In the event that anyone is looking at this article and reviewing the academic credentials of this article, I promise that soon, it will no longer be a "stub". I have some great resources on the Major and Minor symptoms of CHARGE syndrome, and how these are used in diagnosing. I will soon be working on this, as I have a plane to catch (literally) in 3 hours. So please, bear with me. I will be elaborating this slowly, but surely. Cheers! Wii - do you have a specific interest in CHARGE? Nice to see more and more professionals becoming interested! (I have a daughter with CHARGE)

Hello there! I actually am a public health student, studying epidemiology, and going off to Medical School next year. I heard about CHARGE through television, and I wanted to learn more and educate more. I think this is a misunderstood condition, and the more people know, the better our society can become, both for those affected and society in general. Best of luck to you and your daughter!!
