The Chattahoochee and Gulf Railroad (AAR reporting marks CGR, CHAT) is a short line railroad operating since 2003 between Hilton, Georgia, and Dothan, Alabama, on former Central of Georgia and Norfolk Southern tracks. The CGR is owned by Gulf and Ohio Railways, a company that operates several short line railroads.
The CGR has a branch that serves Alabama Power Farley Nuclear Power Plant.
At Hilton, Georgia the CGR connects with the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad (CIRR) and Norfolk Southern's line to Albany, Georgia. The CGR also interchanges with CSX and the Bay Line Railroad at Dothan, Alabama.
