Chatmohar is located at 24.2250° N 89.2917° E . It has 39489 units of house hold and total area 314.32 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Chatmohar has a population of 227524. Males constitute are 50.63% of the population, and females 49.37%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 109774.
