Chatham Athletics

The Chatham Athletics, more commonly referred to as the Chatham A's, are a team in the Cape Cod Baseball League. They are located in Chatham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. They play in the league's Eastern Division along with the Orleans Cardinals, Harwich Mariners, Brewster Whitecaps, and Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

The A's generally play their games from the middle of June to the first week of August. Owned by the non-profit Chatham Athletics Association, the Athletics are considered the most successful franchise in the Cape Cod league. Like other Cape League teams, the Chatham Athletics are funded through merchandise sales, donations, and other fundraising efforts at games such as fifty-fifty raffles. All home games begin at 7:00 PM.

The Chatham A's were featured prominently in the 2001 motion picture "Summer Catch". Published in 2004, "The Last Best League" is author Jim Collins' non-fiction account of the 2002 Chatham A's.
