Chashme Buddoor (Devnagari: चश्मे बद्दूर) is a 1981 Indian Hindi film directed by Sai Paranjape and produced by Gul Anand. It stars Farooq Shaikh, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani as three broke college students and room mates dreaming of getting a girl in their lives. The studious one (Farooq) surprises the other two by getting a girl friend ( Deepti Naval). The movie also has Leela Mishra and Saeed Jaffrey. Shot extensively in Delhi it had walk on roles by national T.V actors like Vinod Nagpal.

Music is by Raj Kamal and lyrics by Indu Jain. Singers are K J Yesudas and Haimanti Sukla

In 2007, rumors of a remake starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor began to circulate. The project has, however, yet to be confirmed
