Chartwell is a suburb of Hamilton, New Zealand to the northeast of Fairfield. The suburb was named after Chartwell, the country home of Sir Winston Churchill| Winston Churchill.

Chartwell is home to the shopping centre Westfield Chartwell - formerly and still popularly known as "Chartwell Square". The centre is currently being given a $40 million makeover to include a SkyCity Cinema, new foodcourt, carpark building and new stores.
