Charlotte Perrelli

Charlotte Perrelli (née Nilsson, born October 7, 1974 in Hovmantorp, Sweden) is a Swedish pop and dansband singer. Charlotte was singer in the Swedish dansband Wizex between 1997 and 1999.

Charlotte Perrelli is best known for winning the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest, participating with the song "Take Me to Your Heaven". She's married to husband Nicola Perrelli (born Ingrosso). They changed their surnames to Perrelli during a family fight.

Charlotte has two sons with husband Nicola: Angelo Mateo Perelli born January 8, 2004 and Alessio Roberto Perrelli born October 17, 2005.

Charlotte will be one of four experts in a Nordic preview show panel discussion about Eurovision Song Contest 2007 where the contestants and their songs and chances to win will be commented on. Among the other three are Icelandic singer Eirikur Hauksson, who will also be Iceland's representative in Helsinki. This will be the third year in a row that Charlotte partakes in this Nordic preview show, which will be broadcast in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and be hosted by Annika Jankell.[1]
