Charlie Pabor

Charles Henry Pabor (September 24, 1846 - April 23, 1914) was a 19th century Major League Baseball outfielder and manager through the existence of the National Association from 1871-1875.[1]
Charlie managed and played centerfield while batting 0-4 for the Cleveland Forest Citys, against the Fort Wayne Kekiongas, in the first truly professional game ever played, the first game of the National Assosciation.[2]
Although Charlie was born in New York, New York, he settled in New Haven, Connecticut, where he died at the age of 68.
