Charlie Banks was a rugby league player in the Australian competition, the New South Wales Rugby League(NSWRL).

Banks played for the St George(1948-49) andEastern Suburbs(1951-52) clubs. A forward, Banks was a member of St Georges premiership winning side in 1949. Banks also represented NSW in a match against France in 1951.
