Charleston Collegiate School is a small private school on John's Island near Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston Collegiate School is a non-sectarian, independent K4-12 college preparatory school that is part of SAIS (Southern Association of Independent Schools) and NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools). It is one of 16 South Carolina independent schools (of approximately 400 schools) to belong to NAIS. The school has an enrollment of 280 students and offers an individualized approach to education. Class sizes are small (generally 12-15) and the student-teacher ratio is 8:1. Sixty-five percent of faculty members hold Master's or Ph.D. degrees. Charleston Collegiate prides itself on having a closeknit, family-like environment.
