Charleston Academy

Charleston Academy was established in 1975 and is located in the Kinmylies area of Inverness, Scotland. The school has an average pupil population of 850.
The current rector is Mr. Calum MacSween.
The school has a highly successful shinty team, due to its catchment area serving the shinty playing areas of Strathglass, Lovat, Beauly and the north of Glenurquhart.
Emma Maree Urquhart, writer of the Dragon Tamer series of novels, currently attends Charleston Academy.
Several members of the Scottish Folk Band, Croft No. 5, attended the school in the late 1990s.
