Charles the Deaf

Charles the Deaf (Karl Döve in Swedish) from the House of Bjelbo was the jarl of Sweden during 1216-1220. His father was jarl Bengt Snivil. He was the younger brother of jarl Birger Brosa and father of jarl Ulf Fase. Charles died at the Battle of Lihula in 1220.
