Charles West (major)

Major Charles West served in the Third Virginia Regiment with the rank of Major from February 1, 1777 to July 6, 1778. He was the son of John West III of West Point, Virginia, a justice and sheriff of King and Queen County, and his wife, Judith Armistead daughter of Captain Anthony Armistead.
