Charles Walker (draughts player)

Charles Walker (born 1934) is a former Mississippi state checkers champion and minister who founded the International Checker Hall of Fame in Petal, Mississippi in 1979.
He gained attention on local news starting in 2004 as he was charged with laundering drug money. The trial was delayed due to Hurricane Katrina, but in 2005 he pled guilty.
