Charles River Center

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Charles River Center is a 200,000 square foot shopping center in the suburban bedroom community of Bellingham, Massachusetts. Developed by S.R. Weiner and W/S Development of Chestnut Hill, MA, it opened in 1998 in the Charles River watershed area, a river that runs approximately 40 miles to the Boston Harbor. It is the third of four major developments in the area. Stallbrook Marketplace opened in 1993, the Crossroads Center Bellingham opened in 1996, and the proposed Shoppes at Bellingham will open in 2008.

Located at Exit 18 off of Interstate 495, its location is popular because of the ever growing populous in the area, and heavy development that continues along Boston's "outer belt".
