Charles Randolph Grean

Charles Randolph Grean (October 1, 1913-December 20, 2003) was a producer and composer known for his version of Robert Cobert's Quentin's Theme for Dark Shadows. He also wrote The Thing (song), a popular song sung by Phil Harris, and he produced Leonard Nimoy presents Mr. Spock's Music from Outer Space in addition to writing many of the songs. Grean was also wrote The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. Other songs produced include The Little Blue Man by Betty Johnson. He died from natural causes at age 90. He was married four times.
