Charles O'Bannon

Charles Edward O'Bannon (born February 22, 1975 in Lakewood, California) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, where he was a star small forward/shooting guard, and a starter on the school's 1995 NCAA Championship team. He is the younger brother of former NBA forward Ed O'Bannon, who played with him at UCLA.
O'Bannon was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 3rd pick in the 2nd round of the 1997 NBA Draft. He played for the Pistons for two seasons before being released. He scored a career high 14 points on April 14, 1999 against the Charlotte Hornets. Charles went on to Wroclaw, Poland (Zepter Slask Wroclaw) where the team won Championship 2000 and he was MVP. During one of his breaks from the Japanese league, Charles Joined former teamate and childhood friend Tyus Edney in (Treviso Italy) Team Bennetton. There the two won the Italian Championship 2003.
Currently O'Bannon is playing professional basketball in Japan with a former college teammate, J.R. Henderson.
