Charles McGee

Charles McGee was the executive director of the New Hampshire Republican Party. He was convicted of phone-jamming Democratic efforts to organize a get out the vote effort for their candidate running against John E. Sununu during the 2002 New Hampshire US Senate race. The incident led to one of the biggest political scandals in the state's history.

McGee pleaded guilty to a felony and was sentenced to seven months. Senator Sununu, who was elected by about 19,000 votes. His associates, James Tobin and Allen Raymond also plead guilty of this crime.[1]
