Charles Manners, 10th Duke of Rutland

Charles John Robert Manners, 10th Duke of Rutland (May 28, 1919–January 2, 1999) was the son of John Manners, 9th Duke of Rutland.
He married, firstly, Anne Bairstow Cumming Bell, on 27 April 1946 and they were divorced in 1956. They had one child:
He married, secondly, Frances Helen Sweeny, on 15 May 1958. She was a daughter of Charles Sweeny, the American amateur golfer, and his first wife, the former Margaret Whigham. They had four children:
- David Charles Robert Manners, 11th Duke of Rutland (b. 8 May 1959)
- Robert George Manners (1961–1964), died young.
- The Lady Helen Teresa Margaret Manners (b. 11 November 1962). The former lead singer of the short-lived 1980s British rock band The Business Connection, which was founded by the Marquess of Worcester, she is now the wife of John Chipman, the director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
- The Lord Edward John Francis Manners (b. 29 May 1965)
