Charles Klein (1867-1915) was an American playwright, born in London, England. He was educated at North London College and early came to New York City, where for a time he was play censor for Charles Frohman. His plays include:

In The Auctioneer and The Music Master David Warfield had great success, and The Lion and the Mouse was of unusual power. Charles Klein died in the sinking of the Lusitania.
