Charles Doolittle Walcott Medal

Charles Doolittle Walcott Medal is an award given out by the National Academy of Sciences every five years to stimulate research in Precambrian or Cambrian life and history.
It is named after Charles Doolittle Walcott (March 31, 1850 - February 9, 1927). The medal was established through the Walcott Fund by gift of Mrs. Mary Vaux Walcott.
