Charles Deschamps de Boishébert et de Raffetot

Charles Deschamps de Boishébert ( b February 7, 1727d January 9, 1797), started his military career early in life as a member of the colonial troops. He joined the Quebec garrison in 1742. Records show he was active in troop deployments along the New York frontier early in his military service.

By February, 1748, Boishébert was promoted lieutenant and continued with active field service. In 1751 he served Governor La Jonquière directly by carrying dispatches to France.
