Charles Brisbane

Admiral Sir Charles Brisbane (1769–1829) was a naval officer of distinction under Lords Hood and Nelson; captured in 1796 Dutch East Indiamen, three in Saldanha Bay, and in 1807 the island of Curaçao. He was made governor of St. Vincent.
