"Charlene" is the second single from Anthony Hamilton's sophomore album, Comin' from Where I'm From. It was released as airplay-only single in May 2004, entering the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart on June 5, 2004. It spent 46 weeks on the chart and peaked at #3. On the Billboard Hot 100, it debuted on September 4, 2004, starting a 22-week run which lead to a #19 peak.
"Charlene" is Anthony Hamilton's most successful single and also is signature song.
