"Chante's Got a Man" was the first single from Chanté Moore's third album, This Moment is Mine. "Chante's Got a Man" became the R&B singers first top ten pop single in the US. Featuring a sample of the number-one 1971 Osmonds single "One Bad Apple", the song earned Soul Train Music Award nomination, alongside Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, for "Single of the Year, Female".
