Changuch is the Himalayan mountain peak situated at the boundary of Pithoragarh and Bageshwar district of theUttarakhand state of India. This peak is situated above Pindari glacier The altitude of the summit is 6,322 m. This peak offers a ridge leading to Nanda Kot. This is still an unclimbed peak. On its massif Traill's pass is situated, which connects Pindari valley to Goriganga valley.
[edit] Attempts-1987 and 1997 Expeditions
Two attempts in 1987 and 1997 failed.Both the time expedition is through Pindari valley.Indo-British Mt.Changuch Expedition of 1987 was led by B.Mukhoty.They are forced to recess.The expedition of 1997 was led by G.Murray.This expedition is also failed to ascent the summit.
