ChangPing (long peace) is where Dongguan Train Station is located. A direct train from Hong Kong's Hong Hum district. It is one of many border crossings from Hong Kong into mainland China and a popular way to come into mainland China on the weekend. As a result, ChangPing has a significant nightlife which includes a wide range of restaurants, clubs, and bars. Compared to Dongguan City itself, which is a good 40 minutes away, ChangPing is an unorganized and somewhat chaotic. Taxis in ChangPing do not use a meter and will typically charge a flat rate of 15RMB per trip (in the city).
