Chandler Township is a civil township of Charlevoix County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 230.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.3 km² (35.6 mi²). 92.3 km² (35.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.03% is water.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 230 people, 86 households, and 62 families residing in the township. The population density was 2.5/km² (6.5/mi²). There were 142 housing units at an average density of 1.5/km² (4.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.26% White, 0.43% African American, 0.87% Asian, and 0.43% from two or more races.
There were 86 households out of which 30.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.6% were married couples living together, 5.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families. 22.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.08.
In the township the population was spread out with 27.4% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 29.6% from 45 to 64, and 7.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 111.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 114.1 males.
The median income for a household in the township was $43,750, and the median income for a family was $48,542. Males had a median income of $32,083 versus $21,250 for females. The per capita income for the township was $24,855. About 2.9% of families and 4.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 5.0% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those sixty five or over.
