Chancellor's School

Chancellor's School is a secondary school situated at the edge of Brookmans Park in Hertfordshire, with around 1,000 pupils. It is for children of both sexes, and specialises in Maths and Computing. It is a Foundation/Comprehensive school for children aged 11-18 years old including sixth form
History
One morning in September 1964 children began walking through the gates of Chancellor's School for the first time. It marked the end of a campaign by parents and local residents for the village to have its own secondary school. Lilian Caras's history sets out the circumstances leading up to the building of the school and charts its development. Chancellors School was a school of high standards, and it is very popular amongst people in Hertfordshire.
Chancellors Schools GCSE standards continued to rise up until 2003-2004 when it reached its record of over 73% of pupils passed GCSE with at least 5 C's
