Champ-sur-Drac is a town and commune in south-east France, situated at the foot of the Alps, at the confluence of the Romanche into the Drac. Located in the Rhône-Alpes région, Champ-sur-Drac in the département of Isère. Population of the city (commune) of Champ-sur-Drac at the 2005 census was 3.300 inhabitants . Population of the whole metropolitan area (in French: aire urbaine) at the 1999 census was 7.309 inhabitants and population of the intercommunality (C.C.S.G) at the 2005 census was 26.761 inhabitants.
