Chalfant Valley, California

Chalfant Valley is a small, primarily residential community of 530 people located in unincorporated Mono County, California 14 miles north of the City of Bishop in Mono County on U.S. Route 6. Most residents commute to Bishop for work and school.
Recently the area has been eyed by developers to help ease the lack of affordable housing in nearby Bishop.
