Chalatenango, Chalatenango

Chalatenango (known as "Chalate" by locals) is a municipality in the Chalatenango department of El Salvador. It is the birthplace of Salvadoran hip hop group Pescozada. Chalatenango is the capital of the department. The coat of arms is actually the same as the department, as is the flag.
