Chaenomeles speciosa (Flowering Quince) is a species of Chaenomeles, in the family Rosaceae.
It is native to eastern Asia.

It has been part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for thousands of years. The fruits are used to treat arthritis, leg edema, and cramping in the calf muscle.
