Chad Lucas

Chad Dennard Lucas (born on November 7, 1981 in Auburn, Alabama) is a wide receiver free agent. Lucas attended Alabama State University, where he majored in marketing. He began his professional career with the Tennessee Titansas a free agent but was cut before any real training camp. He then went to the San Jose Sabercats to play summer ball. He was then picked up by the Green Bay Packers and played in one game. The Packers then sent Lucas to NFL Europe where he was drafted in the 18th round of the Allocated Player Draft by the Amsterdam Admirals. He did not do enough to make the Packers and was released. On October 18, 2006 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Chad to their practice squad but released him from it on October 25, 2006. He was re signed on January 17, 2007 by the Bucs.

On April 11th, 2006 Lucas caught an NFL Europe record 4 touchdown passes in the Admirals 38-31 victory over the Berlin Thunder. He had a total of 6 receptions for 120 yards.
