Chad Gibson

Chad Gibson (born Sydney, Australia, 19 June 1976) is a football (soccer) player. He last played for A-League club Queensland Roar FC where he was captain.

Gibson plays as a sweeper. He began his professional career with Sydney United, who played in the now defunct National Soccer League. After moving to Marconi Stallions, he had spells for Johor FC in Malaysia and F.K. Bodø/Glimt in Norway before returning to Australia to play for Marconi Stallions .

On the 24th of January 2007, Queensland Roar announced that they would be releasing both Gibson and team mate Remo Buess

It has been suggested that Gibson bears a resemblance to Derek Zoolander.[1]

In February 2006, Alpha Magazine named in the "Top 50 Sports Stars List".
