Chacas District

Chacas is a district of the province of Asunción, in the Ancash Region of Peru.

Chacas is the prettiest town near Huaráz, famous by its beautiful seat of arms, its art in wood and its run crazy people of bulls, in which all can participate. The route in bus from Huaráz by Olympic End is one of most spectacular of Peru.

If you are not a montañista, but equal it likes to occur an idea of which it is to be above between the highest mountains of the White Mountain range, it only takes a bus from Huaráz to Chacas happening through the 4890 ms of Olympic End. The bus will take it towards the north to Carhuaz and of it enters the tube of the broken Ulta there, happening towards the east just as opposed to the Snow-covered Huascarán, the highest mountain of Peru (6768 ms).
