Ch.B.

Ch.B. is a post-nominal abbreviation for the degree of Bachelor of Surgery. This degree is sometimes abbreviated B.Ch. or B.Chir. and is typically undertaken in conjunction with the degree of Bachelor of Medicine in those countries offering these degrees as the first professional qualification in medicine. In the United States, these degrees have been replaced with the Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.).
