Château Haut-Batailley

Château Haut-Batailley is a winery in the Pauillac appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The The wine produced here was classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus (Fifth Growths) in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. [1] The Chateau has 54 acres planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. A second wine is produced under the label Chateau La Tour L'Aspic. The Chateaus is run by the Boire Family who also own Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. [2]
