 This is the template documentation page for Template:Cfdnotice.

[edit] Purpose

When nominating a category on WP:CFD, add this template to the main article's talk page to notify users of the category's nomination.

[edit] Usage

On the talk page add:

{{subst:cfdnotice|category name|date=yyyy Month dd}}

Example:

{{subst:cfdnotice|Example category|date=9999 Month 99}}

Will produce:

The related Category:Example category has been nominated for deletion, merging, or renaming. You are encouraged to join the discussion on the Categories for Discussion page.


Also, will add the article to Category:Categories for discussion notices.
